Light
Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid strong afternoon sunlight, which can burn the leaves and shorten the life of the blooms.
Watering
Water every 7–10 days, or when the orchid medium feels nearly dry. Use a long, narrow-spout watering can to direct a small amount of water toward each orchid’s root base.
Do not pour water into the center of the leaves, as trapped moisture may cause yellowing or crown rot. Do not allow water to collect inside the decorative container.
Environment
Keep indoors in a stable environment between 60–80°F. Protect the arrangement from temperatures below 55°F, heating vents, air-conditioning drafts, and sudden temperature changes.
Maintenance
Remove spent blooms as they fade. Gently wipe dusty leaves with a soft cloth. The preserved moss requires no watering beyond the moisture used for the orchid roots.
Quartz and Container Care
Dust the quartz crystal, ceramic container, and wooden stand gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and excess water on the wooden base.
With proper care, Phalaenopsis orchid blooms may remain beautiful for approximately 6–10 weeks.
