Pocket Forest

$78.00

Pocket Forest is a collector bonsai captures the peaceful presence of a miniature woodland landscape in a small, sculptural form. A living juniper bonsai is carefully shaped to resemble an ancient tree in miniature, with delicate evergreen branches extending outward over a soft bed of lush moss.

The bonsai sits inside a handcrafted ceramic pot finished in a soft green glaze with subtle vertical texturing. The organic color variations in the glaze give the vessel a natural, weathered appearance that complements the bonsai’s forest-like character.

At the base of the tree, fine decorative pebbles form a layered foundation beneath the moss, adding texture and stability while evoking the feeling of a quiet forest floor. The vibrant moss softens the composition and highlights the sculptural structure of the bonsai above.

Small yet expressive, Pocket Forest brings a calming natural element to desks, shelves, coffee tables, or meditation spaces. Its compact size makes it perfect for apartments, offices, and anyone who appreciates the quiet beauty of bonsai.

  • Light
Place in bright natural light. Japanese Holly bonsai prefer several hours of indirect sunlight each day. A location near a bright window or gentle morning sun is ideal.

    Watering
Water when the top layer of soil begins to feel slightly dry. This is typically every 3–5 days, depending on indoor temperature and humidity. Water slowly at the base of the trunk until the soil is evenly moist, but avoid letting the pot sit in standing water.

    Environment
Japanese Holly bonsai prefer cooler, well-ventilated environments with temperatures between 45–80°F. They benefit from fresh air and can tolerate cooler nighttime temperatures.

    Moss Care
Lightly mist the moss with a spray bottle every few days to keep it fresh and vibrant.

    Maintenance
Trim new shoots occasionally to maintain the bonsai’s shape. Rotate the pot every few weeks so the plant grows evenly toward the light.
