Sakura Ridge

$99.00

Sakura Ridge is a collector bonsai landscape featuring a flowering Satsuki Azalea bonsai (Rhododendron indicum), prized for its glossy evergreen leaves and delicate peach-toned blossoms. The miniature tree rises gracefully from a moss-covered terrain, creating the impression of a flowering tree growing along a quiet mountain ridge.

A sculptural lava stone formation anchors the composition, evoking rugged volcanic terrain within this miniature landscape. The porous dark stone contrasts beautifully with the lush green moss that blankets the base of the tree, while fine decorative pebbles surround the planting area to create a layered natural foundation.

The bonsai is set in a glazed ceramic vessel finished in earthy moss-green tones that complement the stone and living elements. Together, the volcanic rock, moss, and flowering bonsai create a tranquil garden scene that feels both sculptural and serene.

Designed as a collector bonsai display, Sakura Ridge brings the quiet beauty of traditional bonsai artistry into a compact living landscape—ideal for desks, shelves, meditation spaces, or curated interior displays.

Dimensions:

Pot length 3 inches
Pot width 2 inches

  • Light
Place in bright natural light with gentle morning sun or strong indirect light. Satsuki Azalea bonsai thrive in well-lit environments but should be protected from intense afternoon heat.

    Watering
Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top layer of soil begins to feel lightly dry, typically every 2–4 days depending on temperature and humidity. Water slowly around the base of the tree until the soil is evenly moist.

    Environment
Satsuki Azalea bonsai prefer cooler environments between 50–75°F with good air circulation. They can tolerate cooler nighttime temperatures and benefit from fresh air.

    Moss Care
Lightly mist the moss with a spray bottle every few days to keep it vibrant and fresh.

    Maintenance
Remove spent flowers after blooming. Trim new growth periodically to maintain the bonsai’s shape. Rotate the pot occasionally so the plant receives even light and balanced growth.
