  • Place the arrangement in bright, indirect light and keep it away from strong afternoon sun.

    Water lightly when the planting material feels almost dry. Add a small amount of water around the base of the orchid and pothos, taking care not to leave standing water inside the container. Avoid pouring water into the center of the orchid leaves, as this can cause rot.

    The orchid enjoys light humidity and comfortable indoor temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Keep the arrangement away from air-conditioning vents, heaters, and cold drafts.

    Trim away faded orchid flowers and any yellowing pothos leaves. The satin pothos may be gently trimmed if its vines become too long.

    Because orchids and pothos have different watering needs, always check the moisture before watering. It is better to keep this arrangement slightly dry than overly wet.
